Agreeing to do so, Lois asks her daughter, Meg to look after them for her. The next day, Meg visits Joe and Susie, and tells them that she will be helping them out while Bonnie is gone. He soon discovers a puppet shop, however, with the shop's owner, Franz Gutentag, quickly befriending him. The two bond over the puppets, creating their own puppets and stories, but Herbert discovers their relationship and tries to break it up. Peter's neighbor, Joe, is then called upon, who takes them both to court. The judge then sentences them to 30 days in Alcoholics Anonymous, much to their chagrin. Peter is then introduced to the energy drink Red Bull which causes him to become addicted to the drink. Returning home, he begins acting extremely hyperactive, and soon becomes a nuisance to the family, including his wife, Lois, who gets rid of the drinks. Brian tries to be friendly to Quagmire, and inadvertently mistakes his terminally ill and balding niece named Abby for a boy, causing them to go to the back of the line once more.
